# Activate Windows

We recommend the widely used **activated.win** method.

## Activation Steps

1. Open **PowerShell as Administrator** (`Windows key + X` → Windows PowerShell / Terminal Admin).
2. Paste and run:

```powershell
irm https://get.activated.win | iex
```

3. When the menu appears, press **`1`** and wait until it finishes.

## If You Get an Execution Policy Error

Run this first:

```powershell
Set-ExecutionPolicy -Bypass -Scope Process
```

Then repeat the activation command.
