# Reinstall Windows

**Only after the spoof is finished.**\
Do not reinstall before the remote session is complete.

Windows 10 or Windows 11 both work. Custom / gaming ISOs are fine.

## Critical Rules

After the reinstall **do NOT**:

* Sign in with a Microsoft account (create a **local account** only)
* Enable or sign into OneDrive

## Steps

1. Create a bootable Windows USB with **Rufus** (recommended).\
   Guide: [Rufus Windows USB](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSRCZEKDMK8)
2. Boot from the USB.
3. When you reach the disk selection screen, **Delete** all partitions on the target drive so it becomes unallocated space.
4. Install Windows on the unallocated space.
5. During the out-of-box experience, create a **local account** only.

Once Windows is installed, proceed to **Activate Windows**.
